This trip really took us through the heart of China's history. Beijing's major sites like the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven are all must-sees, and the Great Wall at Badaling was an unforgettable adventure. The peaceful Kunming Lake Boat Ride at Summer Palace was the perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. I really enjoyed wandering through Nanluoguxiang and the Shichahai Area – they gave a nice local vibe to our Beijing experience.
The next few days were full of rich history, especially in Pingyao and Xi'an. The Terracotta Warriors were as impressive as expected, and the Muslim Quarter added a nice cultural touch. We also loved the visit to Shaolin Temple and learning about its history. Finally, Huangshan was breathtaking – the views were absolutely stunning. Ending in Shanghai was a nice touch, with the skyline at the Bund providing the perfect finale to our trip.

Our trip was amazing! Beijing was packed with history – Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City were incredibly awe-inspiring. The Badaling Great Wall was definitely a highlight – it was an unforgettable experience to walk along such a historic monument. The Summer Palace and the boat ride on Kunming Lake were perfect for some relaxation. We were also really impressed with Jingshan Park, where you get a panoramic view of the Forbidden City. Every stop felt like a discovery.
The journey from Pingyao to Xi'an was fascinating, especially visiting the Rishengchang Draft Bank and the Wang Family Courtyard. Xi'an's Terracotta Warriors lived up to the hype – absolutely stunning and definitely worth the visit. Luoyang’s Longmen Grottoes was another spectacular experience. We ended the trip with a great time in Shanghai – the Bund and the Shanghai Tower provided incredible city views!

Our time in Guizhou was incredible. After arriving in Zhaoxing Dong Village, we wandered through the vibrant village with traditional wooden houses and scenic landscapes. Zhaoxing Dong Culture Museum gave us great insight into the region’s history. Driving through the Biasha Miao Village was like stepping back in time, where the Miao people still wear traditional dress. The Gaoyao Rice Terraces were another beautiful sight, although a bit off the beaten path. Finally, we ended our trip in Kaili, exploring the Langde Upper Miao Village and Matang Gejia Village, which were perfect for getting a closer look at Miao and Gejia culture.

From Hong Kong we took a smooth train ride to Guilin. Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo was a definite highlight. The views are out of this world – it's a photographer’s dream! In Yangshuo, the West Street was charming with its fusion of local culture and western influences. The next day, we visited the Longji Rice Terraces, which was a unique experience. It’s hard to imagine how people have farmed these slopes for centuries. Pingan Zhuang Village was a quaint village nestled among the terraces, and we loved learning about the Zhuang ethnic group.

We couldn’t have asked for a better tour through Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, and Lhasa! The Stone Forest in Kunming was a major highlight—like stepping into another world. We were thrilled with the Jiuxiang Scenic Area too; the caves and waterfalls were gorgeous! The train ride from Kunming to Dali was smooth and convenient, and Dali's Three Pagodas were an impressive sight.
Lijiang is magical—Black Dragon Pond Park is so peaceful, and the ancient town was a great place to explore. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was the perfect way to end our time in Lijiang, with unforgettable views.
Traveling up to Shangri-La was an adventure—Tiger Leaping Gorge was absolutely stunning. Once we arrived in Lhasa, we were completely captivated by the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple—it’s hard to put into words how spiritual it felt.
The guides were knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring we never felt rushed and giving us time to soak in each place. This was one of the best trips we’ve taken!

Visiting Zhangjiajie was one of the best travel experiences I've had. The landscape is absolutely surreal. The Glass Bridge was definitely an adrenaline-pumping experience, and the views were worth every second. Baofeng Lake was peaceful and serene, a perfect spot to take a boat ride and enjoy the scenery. Golden Whip Stream was another highlight, offering a calm and beautiful walk through the forest. If you’re looking for stunning views and a bit of adventure, Zhangjiajie should be at the top of your list.

I can’t recommend Zhangjiajie enough! The Glass Bridge was a thrilling experience – walking over the canyon with just glass beneath your feet was terrifying but exhilarating. The views from Tianzi Mountain and Yuanjiajie were breathtaking. If you're into hiking, Yellow Stone Village and Yangjiajie are perfect spots for scenic walks. For a peaceful experience, I’d highly recommend Golden Whip Stream. It’s a beautiful and quiet walk with stunning scenery. The whole trip was an amazing balance of adventure and relaxation.
