Day 1 Hongkong Arrival

Welcome to China! Upon your arrival in Hongkong, you will be greeted by our Hongkong local driver with a welcome signage "China Private Tour". And escorted to your hotel directly. The rest of the day is free on your own to recover jetlag.

Day 2 Hongkong-Guangzhou

In the morning, take a train from Hongkong to Guangzhou. Upon arrival, first visit Guangzhou's Former European Concession, France and England both set up shop on this sandy river island in 1859 toward the end of the Opium Wars, Shamian Island is home to a number of colonial era buildings, including a restored French Catholic church, Our Lady of Lourdes;

Next, pay a visit for Lizhiwan, a 743 meters (813 yards) canal which links Shamian Island and Liwan Lake, you will have the chance to explore this attractive waterway which is surrounded by greenery, period-style buildings and numerous shops and restaurants selling traditional Cantonese food.

You will have a Chinese lunch at local restaurant to try some cantonese food. Guangzhou city also regarded as paradise of food.

After lunch, pay a visit to the Yuexiu Park, the largest park in downtown Guangzhou covering an area of 860,000 square meters (212.5 acres) and consisting of three artificial lakes and Yuexiu Mountain's seven hills.

The last stop for the tour is Six Banyan Temple. It is an ancient Buddhist temple which was built in 537 during the Liang Dynasty.

After dinner, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 3 Guangzhou-Guilin

In the morning, you will take a high-speed train from Guangzhou to Guilin (about 2 hrs). Upon arrival, first visit the iconic Sight-Elephant Trunk Hill Park, which is one of the four top Guilin attractions that all visitors coming to town usually stop by. Regarded as the symbol of Guilin city, the site is the most famous karstic hill formation out of the many rising straight out of the ground throughout the city. 

Then we head to Fubo Hill or Wave-Subduing Hill, which another of Guilin's unique scenic spots. Natural scenery - rocks and stalactites and the man-made cloister and pavilions blend to make this a memorable sight. Climbing along the winding stone stairway to the hilltop provides a panoramic view of Guilin City.

Lunch is at a great local restaurant to try local food.

After lunch at a local Chinese restaurant, continue your tour to Reed Flute Cave, which is known as "the Palace of Natural Arts” is located in the northwest of Guilin City, 5 kilometers away from the center of the city. It is a cave on the southern shoulder of the Guangming Hill (Bright Hill) ancd is one of the most extraordinary scenic spots in Guilin. Counted as "must-see" sights in Guilin as well as Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill and Folded Brocade Hill.

Afterwards, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 4 Guilin-Yangshuo

Today, you will take a cruise along the Li River to enjoy the charming view and explore Yangshuo City. 

In the morning, you will take a Li river boat cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo (5 hours). And you will have a lunch on the boat. From Guilin to Yangshuo, the prominent landforms are karst peak clusters. The Li River flows around these mountains to form valleys. The scenery is the best in Caoping, Yangdi and Xingping. There are beautiful scenes of Nine Horses Fresco Hill, Yellow Cloth Reflection, and Half Side Ferry. The Li River landscape's appearance varies at different times of the year, from different viewpoints, and during different climates. 

Today, you will have a buffet lunch on board.

After disembarkation, we will drive you to see the picturesque countryside of Yangshuo-West Street, it is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, the street has become, since the 1980's, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest 'foreign language center' in China.

After dinner, you will enjoy a performance-"Impression of Liusanjie". It is an outdoor performance set in real mountains and rivers in Yangshuo County. The stage is a 2km (1.25 miles) stretch along Li River with 12 mountain peaks and the clear sky as the background. The theater therefore was named "Shanshui", meaning mountains and water in Chinese.

After the show, you will be taken back to your hotel in Yangshuo.

Day 5 Yangshuo-Longsheng-Zhaoxing

In the morning, drive about 3 hrs to get to the Longsheng town, where Longji Rice Terrace located. With trekking for a while, we could see the stunning Longji Terraces. More than 700 years, the brave and smart local residents developed and built the paddies into hillsides surrounding their villages. With such a long history, the area is still being used for growing premium quality rice by Yao and Zhuang villagers. The rice terraces are built into the hillsides and look like great steps cut into the slopes as they wind around the mountainsides, which becomes a great natural view for tourists from all over the world.

Today, you will have a authentic lunch in the minority village to try some local food and know the dinning culture of minority enthnic group.

After lunch, drive about 3hrs to get to the Zhaoxing Dong Village. which is boasts a landmark of five drum towers and beautiful bridges and is known as the most famous Dong Village in China and it is one of the largest Dong villages with over 800 households and more than 4,000 inhabitants in Guizhou.

Day 6 Zhaoxing-Rongjiang

This morning, drive about 2 hours to get to the Rongjiang village. Upon arrival, pay a visit to the Chejiang Dong village, one of the largest Dong villages located along a river among mountains. You will spend about 3hrs here.

After a simple lunch, Head to Rongjiang Ancient Town to see a culture mixture of Dong and Miao minorities. The town has been existed for more than 2000 years. Enjoy a lunch in local restaurant in Rongjiang Ancient Town.

Day 7 Rongjiang-Kaili

After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and our guide will take you to kaili. And you will visit Datang Miao village in Kaili, which is a village famous for its women' short skirts and waterproof granaries. The most extraordinary thing about this is that the females of Datang wear their short skirts all year round, even in freezing winter. Well dressed up Miao girls are performing dance for tourists. You'll be captivated by their charming miniskirts.

After lunch at the local Chinese restaruant, continue your tour to stroll in the village and to learn more about minorities' custom and culture of Southeastern Guizhou in Kaili Ethnic Minorities Museum.

Then drop you off your hotel after the tour ends.

Day 8 Kaili

In the morning, you will pay a visit to Shiqiao Miao village, which is a romantic retreat imbued with magical healing power. Blessed with idyllic landscape, mysterious Miao culture, inviting customs, colorful festivals as well as the over 1400-year-old paper making practice. Then we have a chance to see China Traditional Paper-making process.

After lunch, continue your tour to Qing Miao village, drink a small cup of wine prepared for honored guests by the local before you step into the village, have a personal touch through a local family visit, and a chance to see traditional way of clothes and dresses made by dyed fabric.

Finally, drive you back to your hotel.

Day 9 Kaili-Guangzhou-Hongkong

Free on your own until drive you to the Kaili railway station to catch the train to Guangzhou, then transfer back to Hongkong. Stay overnight in Hongkong.

Day 10 Hongkong Departure

Free on your own until drive you to the Hongkong international airpot. Our service ends.
