We were a three-generation family (grandparents, parents, and one teenager) and booked a private one-day tour to Gubei Water Town, Simatai, and Jinshanling Great Wall. The itinerary was perfectly balanced — enough walking for the active ones but also relaxing for the seniors. Our guide Lily was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, always checking in with my parents and keeping our teenager engaged with fun stories.
