I had an amazing day on this private tour of the Great Wall! From start to finish, it was such a smooth experience. Our guide was fantastic—super friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us a lot of interesting info about the Wall and made sure we saw the best spots for photos. We even took a cable car up and down, which was really cool, and if you’re up for some fun, the toboggan ride down is a blast!Lunch was a real treat. We ate at a local restaurant that wasn’t on the tourist trail, and the food was delicious. It felt great to have an authentic Beijing meal. The whole thing was so well-organized. We were picked up and dropped off right at our hotel, which made everything so easy. If you want a hassle-free, personal tour of the Great Wall, I’d definitely recommend this one!
I've been on plenty of tours in my day, but this one was something special. My guide wasn't just a guide – they were like the best travel buddy I never knew I needed. We laughed, we chatted, and we bonded over our mutual love of history and adventure. They knew all the best stories about the Great Wall, and their passion for sharing them was infectious. Plus, they had this knack for finding the coolest little hidden spots along the way – like this secluded lookout point where we watched the sunset over the Wall. It was magical, and I couldn't have asked for a better companion to share it with.
I felt like I hit the jackpot with my guide! From the get-go, they greeted me like a long-lost friend, which instantly put me at ease. Their knack for storytelling made the journey to the Great Wall fly by – I learned more about ancient China in that car ride than I ever did in school! Plus, they knew all the best spots for photos, and let me tell you, my Instagram is now envy-worthy. But the best part? They didn't just dump me at the Wall and leave. Nope, they stuck with me the whole time, sharing fun facts and even challenging me to a race up the steps (I lost, but it was still a blast).
