Located in Changping County, approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles) northwest of Beijing's urban area, the Sacred Way is an integral part of the Ming Dynasty's tomb complex (1368-1644). It features thirteen imperial mausoleums, seven tombs for concubines, and a grave for eunuchs, collectively representing the dynasty's burial customs and traditions. Your guide will provide detailed insights into the history and significance of each tomb, enriching your visit with stories of the Ming emperors and the architectural marvels of their final resting places. Explore the majestic avenues lined with stone sculptures and statues, each symbolizing spiritual guardians and ceremonial significance. Our trip advisor-Vivian, from Chinabeijingprivatetour, organized an amazing luxury trip for my family. We had private guides and drivers throughout our trip to Beijing & Xian. The itinerary was excellent and well planned to ensure we saw the highlights in each city. Vivian worked very hard to include any ideas of sites we wanted to see and her email response time was exceptional. Our guides were very good and we particularly enjoyed the time with Jenny in Beijing who spoken fluent English, a remarkable girl of learning and culture.
