Mr. Li Zijia was the head of Imperial Household Department in Late Qing Dynasty who was highly trusted by Empress Cixi. He was in charge of the daily food and drinks of emperor and empress. In the latter years of his life, he sorted out a set of imperial cuisine and handed down by his family.
