Once you arrive, our guide will take you to Beijing city to visit the Temple of Heaven,The temple was constructed in 1420
during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and was enlarged during the Qing
Dynasty (1644-1911). It is the grandest cult architecture complex in the
world and a masterpiece of the Chinese people created in ancient times.
Emperors of the two dynasties used to worship the heaven and pray for
rich harvests, as the feudal emperors thought they were the son of the
heaven.
On the way back to your hotel, you will have chance to learn about the silk culture of China and do some free shopping at Silk Market.
After the tour, yo uwill be taken back to your hotel.
Pick up from your hotel within the 2nd ring road of Beijing. Our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby around 7:00am-7:30am by our guide, drive to the North Tiananmen Square. It is the largest city square in the world, occupying an area of 440,000 square meters, and able to accommodate 1,000,000 people at one time. Lots of important events are held in the Tiananmen Sqaure.
Then, head to the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history in the world. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours.
End the visit of Forbidden City at about 11:00, before having Chinese traditional lunch (11:30), travelers have 45 minutes to have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is very famous special local product, it was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving.
In the afternoon, driving to Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of a year. If you want to reach the highest point, cable car is a good choice (optional).
After the tour, drive back to your hotel.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel by your tour guide. Firstly, you will visit the Summer Palace, the Summer Palace, is a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in Beijing, China. It serves as a popular tourist destination and recreational park.
One the way to visit the Olympic Stadium, you will have chance to visit the Pearl Market. After a short visit in the market, our guide will take you to visit the stadium (Birds Nest, Water Cube) from outside. You will have 45 minutes here.
