It was built in 1891, was originally used as a wharf and loading pier during the German concession of Qingdao.  Expanded and repaired three times (1931-1985-2013), Zhan Qiao is now one of Qingdao's must see attractions at 440 meters long and 8 meters wide.Taking some photos here shows you are traveling in Qingdao.

Then move on to Small Qingdao Island, It is a great place to enjoy ocean views and to soak up an island atmosphere. At one time it was an isolated island about 720 meters (787 yards) off shore but in the 1940s a seawall was built, connecting it to the mainland. The island is famous for its unspoiled natural scenery, which includes steep rocky outcrops, and a variety of trees, such as cherries, pomegranates and hibiscus. Head to Xiaoyushan (Little Fish Hill) for an overall view of Zhan Bridge and Small Qingdao Island. The building here is German Style.

Having lunch at Qingdao local restaurant, where you can taste lots of seafood, meet your appetite.

After lunch, head to the May Fourth Square. May Fourth Square (Wusi Guangchang) is a large public square in Qingdao's central business district. The square is a popular tourist destination, and is bordered by the city government to the north, the sea to the south, and residential and commercial buildings on either side. On pleasant days May Fourth Square fills with young couples on the ground and kites in the air.

Badaguan is packed with garden-like villas and foreign-styled buildings built in early 20th century by Russia, Britain, France, Germany, the United States of America, Denmark, Greece, Spain, Switzerland, Japan and etc.
